Latitude The latitude is expressed as a signed decimal number with six digits of precision in the range from −90.000000° to +90.000000°. The latitude at the equator is represented by 0°. Longitude The longitude is expressed as a signed decimal number with six digits of precision in the range from −180.000000° to +180.000000°. The prime meridian at Greenwich is represented by 0°. Altitude The altitude is expressed as distance above mean sea level of the machine’s location. This description does not consider the geodesic model used in any GPS system.
